Bug/bad design in ranking page

When you search someone's name, the ranking page currently displays the top person with that subtext in their name as "#1," the next top person with that subtext as #2, and so on. So for example if I search "Era", it will say that some randoms are #1, 2, 3, and 4th, and me as 5th. But there's no reason why someone would want to see rankings of people with a particular subsequence of text in their name relative to each other, it should stay relative to EVERYONE in the rankings
