SolveFire Hosting Feature
Hello Competitors! SolveFire is excited to announce the release of its newest feature: SolveFire Hosting! SolveFire Hosting is a reliable way to host math competitions without having to set up complicated submission portals or constantly advertise on Discord servers to get participants. Users need only upload problems and solutions, and set time restraints after creating a competition on SolveFire Hosting. Competition creators can set a time frame for when the competition is active and the duration of a personal timer. All other registered users on the website will be able to participate in the competition. Hosting with SolveFire can significantly expand a competition's competitor base and provide a meaningful way to host math competitions while engaging the SolveFire community. Competition creators may feel free to advertise their competitions in the community chat. To announce the release of our new feature, SolveFire would like to announce its collaboration with Integrated Mathematics Tournament (IMT)! IMT will be hosting the first competition using this feature. IMT will be hosting the premiere of its 2026 competition on Saturday, June 13, from 11:30-4:30. This year’s competition includes more than $1000 in total prizes, with support from sponsors including Jane Street, Art of Problem Solving, and AwesomeMath. Students may compete in teams of 1–5, making IMT a great opportunity for both experienced competitors and students looking to try a math tournament for the first time. SolveFire Round 7 Is Active
Round 7 is now open! The Platinum+ rounds, meaning Platinum and all levels above it, take place every two weeks, and this week, a Platinum level is being hosted. The Platinum round lasts 3.5 hours and is proof-based. Be sure to write your solutions neatly on paper and upload them to the designated spot on the website. Unclear or illegible work may not receive credit. It’s a good idea to finish about 10 minutes early so you have enough time to upload everything. For Platinum+ rounds, only participants scoring in the top 25% will be promoted, and partial credit will be given for proofs that are on the right track. The time limits for the other levels are 120 minutes for Gold, 100 minutes for Silver, and 60 minutes each for Bronze and Iron. We hope you enjoy!

New Updates and First Problem of the Day/Week!
We have updated the website a bit over the past week: 1) There are now problems of the day and problems of the week. Today's problems should go active at 6PM PST. Check back every day for a new problem of the day. Problem of the day awards 10 points to the total ranking, and Problem of the week awards 50 points. 2) We have added a community page. You may now navigate to the community tab to create a post and interact with other users as you would on Reddit. Next, not a new feature, but you can also view past problems in the problem set tab, and these are really good to practice. You can access the harder levels too. SolveFire Round 5 Upcoming!
The competitions are being moved to Friday, 6pm PST - Sunday, 6pm PST, to create a larger test window for test takers (48 hours) compared to the previous 24 hours. In addition to new testing times, users will now be able to answer the problem of the day and problems of the week on the website in order to gain ranking. Each correctly answered problem of the day awards 10 points to the ranking, and each correct problem of the week awards 50 points. Neither deduct for wrong answers. Check in every day for these problems to raise your rankings!

The first competition is now live! There was a problem with the bronze level, but it should be fixed now. The Iron level, which mimics the AMC 8 competition in difficulty, has 15 problems to be completed in 1 hour. The Bronze level, which mimics the AMC 10(upper-level questions), has 13 problems to be completed in 1 hour. The competitions will be open for 24 hours, during which you may start your own personal timer for 1 hour at any moment. If you promote from Iron to Bronze during these 24 hours, you may also participate in the ongoing Bronze contest. Please make sure to read the rules before starting, as they have changed this time.

Iron Round 1 Active NOW
Hello Competitors! The first competition of the Iron Round is ACTIVE! The Iron Round will include problems similar to what would be found on the AMC. Upon starting a competition, a personal timer of 1 hour will begin immediately. You will have 15 problems to complete before the timer ends, and you are locked out. ENTER ALL OF YOUR ANSWERS IN DECIMAL FORMAT ROUNDED TO THE NEAREST TENTH. IF YOU ARE REQUIRED TO USE A CALCULATOR, THEN YOU MAY USE A SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR TO DO BASIC OPERATIONS. Each correctly solved problem will give you 100 points, and each incorrect answer will take away 50 points. The levels are Iron → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Emerald → Sapphire → Unreal For every 1000 points gained, you will move up a level. WE RELY ON THE HONOR SYSTEM. ANY EVIDENCE OF CHEATING WILL LEAD TO AN IMMEDIATE BAN. If the website reaches enough users, we can start offering cash prizes. Please invite your friends to participate too!
